Safety and Risk Management

Question

How is safety managed (weather, maintenance, risk)?

Answer

Safety is built into mission planning and execution. We review weather, route constraints, alternates, aircraft status, and operational risks before launch and throughout the mission. If conditions change, the plan can change.

We do not “force” missions through unsafe conditions. When risks increase—weather, access limitations, or operational constraints—we prioritize safe alternatives: reroutes, delay windows, alternates, or staged plans that still achieve the mission objective.

More Information

  • Build schedule flexibility into planning when possible—weather and access constraints are common causes of delays.
  • If your mission has a hard deadline, tell us early so we can plan contingencies.

Related Questions and Answers

In urgent situations we prioritize two things: safety and feasibility—then speed. When conditions allow, we can accelerate planning by using streamlined checklists and focusing on the minimum required information to launch the mission.

Mission launch speed depends on a few key factors: aircraft and crew availability, weather, route complexity, and whether the mission is domestic or international. Domestic missions with clear details and simple routing can often move quickly.
