September 2019 Bahamas: Hurricane Dorian
Hurricane Dorian devastated the northern Bahamas in early September 2019, with sustained winds up to ~185 mph and storm surges exceeding 20 ft. Whole communities were flattened, tens of thousands left homeless, and critical infrastructure severely damaged.
Judah 1 deployed aviation-enabled relief efforts into the affected Bahamas islands to support the delivery of relief supplies, mission teams, and cargo into remote communities cut off by flooding and damage. They partnered with humanitarian organizations such as Operation Blessing to deliver water purification systems, disaster-recovery supplies, and medical aid.
