July 2022 Juárez, Mexico: Alvarado Ministries

In Juárez, Mexico, many children live in broken homes with limited access to food, shoes, and spiritual hope. The socio-economic challenges leave significant emotional and physical needs.

Working with partner ministries (such as Alvarado Ministries, Rise Up Ministries and Celebration Church), Judah 1 helped feed and provide shoes for nearly 300 children and shared the gospel message of hope and ministry.

We don’t just tell the people of Juárez that Jesus loves them — we show them. What an incredible privilege it is to be the hands and feet of Jesus in such a hurting place. Everett and Kathy shared the good news that Jesus is a friend who sticks closer than a brother, a message that carries deep meaning for children whose homes and families are often fractured.

Many of these kids experience not only the lack of physical necessities—like food, shoes, and daily stability—but also profound spiritual and emotional need. As we served, we watched their faces shift from sadness and hopelessness to joy and renewed hope. By sharing the message of Jesus and demonstrating God’s love through the gifts provided by our ministry partners, we were able to make a tangible difference in their lives.
